What is an End-of-Life Doula?
An end-of-life doula, also called a death doula, is a trained companion who provides non-medical, holistic support to people who are dying and their families. They help make the final transition peaceful and comfortable, offering emotional, spiritual, and practical guidance that complements formal medical hospice care.

Why I Do What I Do
Three times I sat beside loved ones as they reached the end of their lives. Although each time we were filled with good intentions, we were also fearful and confused because we lacked expert, empathetic support. I am called to the doula practice because I believe the end of life can be peaceful when guided by a knowledgeable, compassionate person who can hold space for patients and their loved ones.
